IT Support Directory Auckland ("this site", "we", "us") is operated by Gavin, trading as GMRT Consulting, based in Castor Bay, Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

We collect information in a few limited ways:

• Form submissions: if you use the submit/claim-listing form, we receive whatever you enter — your name, email, phone number (optional) and message. This is sent directly to our email inbox; we don't store it in a database.
• Newsletter sign-up: if you sign up for email updates, we collect your email address to send you occasional updates about the directory.
• Automatically, via advertising and analytics: like most websites, pages on this site load Google AdSense and may in future load Google Analytics. These services can set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing behaviour, to show relevant ads and measure site usage.

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or generally by visiting aboutads.info.

How we use information

We use the information collected to: respond to enquiries and listing requests; keep the directory accurate; send newsletter updates to people who've opted in; and, via AdSense, support the free running of this site through advertising.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Business listing information

Provider listings on this site are compiled from publicly available sources (business websites, public directories, Google Business listings). If you're a business owner and want details corrected, updated, or removed, see our Listing Correction & Removal Policy.

Data retention

Form enquiries are kept only as long as needed to action your request. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
