Listing Correction & Removal Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
If your business is listed on this site and something's wrong, out of date, or you'd rather not be listed at all, here's exactly how to sort it — usually within a couple of business days.
Where listing information comes from
Listings are built from publicly available sources: your business website, public directory listings, and Google Business Profile information. We don't publish anything marked private or paywalled. If your business submitted information to us directly, we use what you gave us.
How to correct a listing
- Go to the submit page.
- Choose "Correct/update details on a listing".
- Tell us what's wrong and what it should say instead.
We action corrections personally — there's no bot approving these — so it may take a day or two, but it won't be ignored.
How to claim your listing
Claiming a listing lets you confirm the details are accurate and puts you in control of future updates. Use the "Claim my existing listing" option on the submit page, from your work email at the business if possible — it speeds up verification.
How to request removal
We'll remove a listing on request from the business owner, no questions asked. Use the submit form, choose "Something else", and say you'd like the listing removed. We'll confirm once it's done. Note that removal takes your business out of a free source of local visibility — if the issue is accuracy rather than wanting off the directory entirely, a correction is usually the better fix.
Reviews and ratings
Where a rating or review count is shown, it reflects publicly visible Google review data at the time the listing was compiled, not testimonials collected by this site. If that number looks wrong or outdated, let us know via the submit form and we'll refresh it.
Disputed editorial notes
The "best for", "red flags" and "what to ask" sections are our own honest read of public information, written to help buyers ask better questions — not a review of your business. If you think a note is factually inaccurate (not just unflattering), tell us why and we'll review it. We won't remove fair, accurate commentary just because it's requested, but we will fix anything that's actually wrong.
