About IT Support Directory Auckland

I put this together because working out who actually does good IT support in Auckland is harder than it should be. Google throws up whoever's spent the most on ads, review sites are easy to game, and most "top 10" lists are written by the companies on them.

How it works

I'm Gavin, I run GMRT Consulting, and I built this directory by going through Auckland IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, VoIP and AI automation providers one by one — checking their websites, service pages and public reviews — and writing an honest, plain-English summary of what each one actually does, who they seem to suit, and what I'd want to ask them before signing anything.

The editorial notes on each listing (best for, red flags, what to ask) are my own read of the publicly available information, not paid placements and not verified customer testimonials. How listings get added or corrected

Business owners can claim a listing, correct details, or ask to be added through the submit page. I review these personally rather than auto-publishing, which is slower but keeps the directory honest.

How this site makes money

The directory is free to browse and free to be listed in. It's funded by display advertising and by paid featured placements — details on the advertise page. Paid placements never change the editorial notes on a listing; they only affect where it sits in search results.
